In the visual editor, you can format text and embed content using the following controls.

Headings and body text
Select Banner Header, Midheader, or Subheader from the + menu to insert a new heading.
Alternatively, select text and choose the desired size from the drop-down menu.
*Headings and text styles are applied to entire lines. Partial formatting is not supported.
Bold
Select the text you want to make bold and click the B button.
*Click B again to remove bold formatting.
*Headings and bold formatting cannot be applied at the same time.
Italic
Select the text you want to italicize and click the I button.
*Click I again to remove italic formatting.
pixiv Encyclopedia interlink
Select the text you want to link and click the Article Link button to open the link settings menu.
*By default, the selected text links to an article with the same title.
*You can link to a different article by editing the destination article title.
*Enable Specify Japanese Article to link to an article in the Japanese version of pixiv Encyclopedia instead of the English version.
To edit an existing article link, click the linked text.
Webpage link
Select the text you want to link and click the Web Link button to open the link settings menu.
Enter the URL of the page you want to link to.
To edit an existing web link, click the linked text.
Table
Select Table from the + menu to insert a table.
Select an empty cell or content within a cell to edit the table or apply formatting to that cell.
Lists
Select List or Numbered List from the + menu to insert a list.
Alternatively, select text and click the List button that appears, then choose the desired list type.
*Press Tab or click Indent to increase the indentation level of a list item (up to two levels).
*Press Shift + Tab or click Outdent to decrease the indentation level.
Embedding content
The following content can be embedded in pixiv Encyclopedia.

- pixiv novels
- YouTube videos
- Niconico videos
- X posts
How to embed content
Select Embed from the + menu to open the embed menu.
Enter the URL of the content you want to embed.
*pixiv illustrations and manga can be embedded in a compact display size.
*You can also embed YouTube and Niconico URLs with a specified playback start time.

To edit embedded content, click the Edit button below the embedded item or the Edit button displayed on embedded pixiv works.
Adding pixiv illustrations and manga
Only pixiv illustrations and manga can be displayed side by side.
Click the + button to the right of an embedded pixiv illustration or manga to open the Add Embed menu.
Enter the URL of the content you want to add.
*Only pixiv illustration and manga can be added using this feature.
