pixiv Encyclopedia offers two editing modes.
Source editor
A text-based editing mode that uses notations on pixiv Encyclopedia to format articles and embed content.
This mode is ideal for large-scale copy-and-paste operations and articles that require repeated use of the same formatting.
Visual editor
A visual editing mode that lets you format articles and embed content using on-screen controls while previewing the article in a layout that closely matches its published appearance.
This mode is ideal for editing complex tables and managing multiple embedded elements.
*Currently available only when editing articles on the desktop version. Support for the mobile version and new article creation will be added in future updates.
How to switch editing modes
You can switch between editing modes using the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the article editor.
Your selected mode will be remembered the next time you open the editor.
You can switch modes while editing an article. However, depending on network conditions or other factors, unsaved changes may be lost. Please take care when switching modes.
