pixiv Encyclopedia prohibits the release of information that is not yet publicly available against the wishes of the concerned parties, which may include fake news, leaks, and rumors, and reporting content that cannot be substantiated as fact.
Article titles and content that consist of nothing but speculation or conjecture are also prohibited.
If you find content posted on pixiv Encyclopedia that has not been publicly released by its copyright holders, please delete the content and/or report the problem.
Articles containing spoilers related to content that has already been publicly released by its copyright holders are not prohibited.
However, please be considerate of readers who would like to avoid spoilers and requests from the copyright holders regarding their timeline for releasing relevant information.
The following are not requirements, but are merely intended as a reference point when writing articles.
Example of how to handle spoilers
Don't include spoilers in the article overview or main thumbnail image
The overview and the main thumbnail image are the first things people will see when they open the article, and they may also be displayed when the article URL is shared on social media or other sites. Please be considerate and do not include spoilers in the article overview or main thumbnail image.
Do not include spoilers in headings
On the desktop version of the Encyclopedia, the headings will be displayed at the top of the article as a table of contents, so they can easily catch a reader's eye, even by mistake.
Hide sections of text that contain spoilers or include spoiler alerts.
If there is a spoiler partway through the article, please add a spoiler alert before the spoiler.
Use warning language such as "the following section contains spoilers regarding (topic)", then add a paragraph break, so that readers can avoid content that they don't want to read.
You can also put spoilers in their own separate section with a spoiler alert heading.
Put the spoiler content in a separate article
If there is a large amount of spoiler content, consider making the spoiler content into its own separate article.
If you make a separate spoiler article, please consider putting a spoiler warning in the article overview.
Wait before posting articles that contain spoilers in the article title
Article titles are displayed in a large font on the top page of the Encyclopedia and elsewhere, so they are the most eye-catching content.
When the spoiler content is newly released, keep the spoiler content as part of an existing article, then post it as its own article once the content has become more widely known.
