pixiv Inc. (the "Company") has established these pixiv Encyclopedia Discussion Thread Guidelines ("these Guidelines") to help create a place where users can enjoy the discussion thread feature (the "Feature") of pixiv Encyclopedia (the "Service") with peace of mind, and to ensure the sound and smooth operation of the Service. These Guidelines provide a detailed explanation of examples of conduct that falls under Article 14 of the pixiv Inc. Service Master Terms of Use (the "Master Terms of Use"), as well as rules that should be kept in mind when using the Feature to avoid prohibited acts, content, and other problems.
The Feature allows users to create dedicated threads ("discussion threads") to discuss how individual articles on the Service should be edited. When creating a thread, users can set a topic related to how an article should be edited and exchange opinions or discuss the topic with other users. Please use discussion threads to incorporate different perspectives and further develop the content of articles.
Under the Feature, threads where less than two weeks have passed since the most recent comment are considered "active discussion threads". If the content you wish to edit has an active discussion thread, you must participate in the discussion before making any edits.
The Company defines its ideal for the Service as "building a more robust fan community by allowing fans of all media to explain their favorite things in their own words". If you find a user who is disrupting a discussion without complying with the pixiv Encyclopedia Guidelines or these Guidelines, please contact us using "Report a problem" on the thread.
These Guidelines have been stipulated independently by the Company, and the Company will amend them at its discretion in response to social or environmental changes, etc. Be advised that matters not provided for herein will be handled in accordance with the provisions of the Master Terms of Use.
